What you know
Your goals, decisions, launches, experiments, expectations and the things you've tried.

What your business shows
Revenue, customers, traffic, conversion, retention, product usage and how those numbers change over time.

What's happening around you
Your website, product, pricing, positioning, audience, competitors, market and the outside factors your own numbers can't show.

What you intended to happen. What you actually changed. What the numbers did next. What else was happening at the same time. Powsight holds it all together to separate signal from noise.
What matters might be hiding in your pricing, acquisition, retention, product or somewhere outside your business entirely. Powsight looks across all of it.
Understand shifts in competitors, pricing, positioning and the wider market that could affect your business.

See what is driving revenue, expansion, contraction and the value of your existing customers.

Understand where customers are coming from and which channels and journeys are actually working.

Find patterns behind churn, engagement and what separates customers who stay from those who leave.

Connect how customers use your product with activation, conversion, retention and revenue.

See whether the things you've changed, launched or tested are actually moving the business forward.

Powsight watches, understands, prioritizes, measures and learns. The only step that's yours is the decision — and by the time it reaches you, it's an informed one.

Frequently asked questions
What is Powsight?
Powsight is business intelligence for your SaaS — built to accelerate time to revenue. It connects your Stripe and product analytics to a living profile of this business, then turns MRR, churn, conversion, and acquisition into decisions that move revenue sooner. You are not hiring another dashboard. You are shortening the loop between “I should try this” and “this actually makes money.”
How does Powsight accelerate time to revenue?
Time to revenue dies in guesswork: the wrong channel, the wrong retention bet, a week spent on a feature that never shows up in paid conversion. Powsight applies BI to your subscriptions, traffic, and growth focus so you see which acquisition sources become paying customers, where churn is concentrated, and whether conversion is improving. The output is a ranked next move, not a wall of KPIs. Faster clarity on the lever that prints MRR is how bootstrapped SaaS compresses time to the next revenue milestone.
What does “business intelligence for SaaS” mean here?
Generic BI is warehouses, SQL, and dashboards for data teams. SaaS business intelligence in Powsight is opinionated: subscription metrics (MRR, churn, retention, LTV-style health), acquisition and conversion, and a Digital Profile of your product, ICP, and stage. It is BI applied to one SaaS you operate — so the system can ask “what shortens time to revenue for this product this week?” instead of “here are 40 charts.” No analyst, no Looker project, no spreadsheet stitch.
Who is Powsight for?
Founders and cofounders of SaaS with some customers — people who already have paying customers and need revenue to arrive faster and more predictably. Typical picture: 10–100 customers, or the $5–10k MRR range where the product has to become a full time job. If you are still pre-revenue, there's still some advice we can give you but you'll miss critical revenue data. If you already have a finance team and a warehouse, you may have outgrown this. The sweet spot is a lean team that wants to accelerate their growth with minimal overhead.
How is this different from Baremetrics, ChartMogul, or Stripe?
Stripe is payments. Baremetrics and ChartMogul are SaaS metrics. Powsight is BI aimed at accelerating your growth: metrics plus your business context, growth goal, founder's journal, and weekly insights that say which lever to pull. A churn rate without a clear handle does not shorten time to revenue. A finding like “paid-ads cohorts never use feature X and cancel” does. Pricing is also built for bootstrapped SaaS -- simple, clear, cheap.
Is my data safe?
Yes. You choose what to connect (Stripe, analytics, GitHub). Credentials are encrypted. Stripe uses a restricted key (as per the onboarding recommendation): we can read billing data and keep webhooks alive so the dashboard stays current. We cannot charge cards, change subscriptions, or issue refunds. Card numbers never sit with us; they stay with Stripe. Disconnect in Powsight or revoke the key and syncing stops. When we generate guidance, your customers identities are not processed (names, emails, and customer IDs are not sent to external AIs). Your product name and URLs are anonymized whenever financial or analytics numbers are at play. Public research on your positioning is the one path that uses real public names, and it never receives your revenue or usage data. You own your content and connected data; we process end-customer records as your processor under GDPR.
How do I tell Powsight which revenue goal to guide me toward?
You pick one growth focus and, when it fits, a number: grow revenue, get more customers, cut churn, or lift conversion. Powsight then watches that goal against your baseline — not a generic benchmark — and checks whether the work is actually pulling revenue forward (new MRR, retained MRR, trial-to-paid, traffic-to-paid). Weekly insights stay pointed at that focus, so the guidance is “this is the lever for your goal,” not a pile of unrelated charts.
What will I actually see on the dashboard?
A clear state of your SaaS today, so you can understand it at a glance and focus on what drives the business forward the most.
Does this work if I am a bootstrapped founder?
Yes. Powsight is built for founders who are funding growth from the product itself — solo or a tiny team, every hour counted, no data hire, no RevOps. The guidance is meant to replace the morning stack of Stripe, analytics, and a spreadsheet, and to point you at the move that pulls revenue forward, not at a board deck. You get a living picture of your SaaS, a single growth goal, and weekly recommendations so you get there as fast as possible.
Why not Claude/ChatGPT, a spreadsheet, and the Stripe dashboard?
That combo is slow in the way a commute is slow: you do it every week and it never gets shorter. Export the CSV. Rebuild MRR in a sheet until it almost matches Stripe. Screenshot the chart. Paste it into ChatGPT. Wait. Get a generic answer that cannot see who stayed, who paid, or what you already tried. Then open analytics, which has the clicks but not the business, and try to guess the move. By the time the story is assembled, the week is gone — and next Monday you start the same pile again. Stripe is a payments product. It will show you charges; it will not tell you what to do next, and that is not what it is trying to be. ChatGPT is a poor place for customer billing data: nothing is anonymized, nothing is live, and yesterday’s chat does not remember your SaaS state today. Analytics gather traffic; they do not carry the extra context needed to point at the most impactful action. Powsight is the suite built for one job only: accelerate your SaaS growth — live numbers, your product in the picture, and guidance that shows up without any effort on your side.
Why not Claude/ChatGPT with MCPs?
You can wire Stripe and analytics into Claude and ask good questions. The gap is that you become the product: every MCP, prompt, metric definition, and weekly check is yours to keep alive. APIs change, keys expire, scopes drift, a server update breaks a tool, and the chat that “knew” your SaaS last month is gone. Powsight takes that maintenance — live Stripe sync, backfill, webhooks, complete-day metrics, weekly runs — so you are not maintaining a private analyst stack on Sunday night. Output quality is the second gap. A general chat over raw MCP payloads will invent MRR, miss a cohort, or optimize last week’s anecdote. Our guidance is built on well-tested metrics defined in code (MRR movements, churn, conversion, acquisition that actually became paying customers), a living profile of this product, and specialist passes for different areas of the business. Findings are checked against what you already know and what the numbers support so incorrect hypothesis are flagged soon for increased accuracy and impact. We keep investing in that loop. Profiles get richer, insights compound, weak guidance gets designed out of the architecture, and every customer benefits from the same upgrades. Claude plus MCPs only gets better if you keep rebuilding it. Powsight is the version you do not have to babysit: it runs when you are not at the keyboard, keeps data secure and anonymized, out of the model, and will never mess up your production data by mistake because it has no write access. We stay on the instrument panel that tells you what pulls revenue forward and you can focus on actually doing the important work.
